He hadn't eaten in weeks.

He let out a small groan, holding his stomach. The guards were getting too good, but he would have to eat soon. Perhaps that woman, again. the one he had visited and lain with. She was beautiful...perhaps he could find her again.

He stopped, turning his head. He smelled something dank and musky, reptilian. A snake, perhaps? For a moment he thought it was Fallen again, but that wasn't possible, was it? He paused for only a moment before he continued walking.

Time to settle payment on the memory, was it? And what a useless one it was. There was nothing there that told him anything, least of all about the little girl he had dreamed about. He wanted to know more about her, not about these people that didn't matter.

He sighed softly, walking for the Park. Ah, there it was, the source of the smell. He looked over the snake with vague disinterest and turned his attention back to the man. So, here they were again.

"Hello."

"Good to see you again!" His call was rather happy for the business they were meeting for. The smirk seemed eternal on Praise's features as he lifted a hand in greeting and began to walk towards Fenrir, the snake sliding from the tree to follow him, its coils slumping to the ground with dull thuds. "I hope you enjoyed the memory. if not, what's done is done."

A hand came up to brush his hair to the other side of his nose, leaving his golden eye unobstructed. "And, again, I'm going to need payment. I trust you know the deal." He was greedy and wants to get straight to the point- and what was the problem with that? It saved them both a lot of time and dancing about with fancy word manipulation.

"So then.. I'm all open for your thoughts." A hand rested on his hip casually, as though they were simply having a discussion-- one that just so happened to take place in the middle of the night.

So, the human wanted something? He smiled for a moment, lips closed, before he opened them to speak.

"I know who murdered Fallen, East, and Soul."

He could see them now, all glassy eyes and faces marred with blood and gore. It was beautiful, how they had frozen in time, entrails trailing onto the floor like so many diviners had come and gone.

He smiled at the memory, and on the hells of it came another, the feel of the woman, pushing forward every inch of him until he was inside of her now-cooling body.

His smile widened and this time he showed his too-many teeth.

He grinned again. "You're rather quick to the point. Unfortunately, I have a few leads on that myself." He noted casually, as though it didn't bother him. "Because I can only think of one person who really had anything to say about Fallen... Talking about what a monster he was, how well he did his job, and what enjoyment he took from it..." His head cocked slightly to the side ( ... )
