The man walked like he had something to hide. Fenrir looked him over quickly, having followed him from the window of the shop with his eyes.

His arms were folded behind his back, and he smiled once, lips closed. Curious. This was certainly something "other". He could feel his hair stand on end, and he shivered slightly. This was something dangerous, strong. Not a wolf, no, but something else...something powerful.

He let only a few moments pause before he stepped to the counter, the drain rattling in place when he stepped over it. His apron was smeared with blood from the day's slaughter, and he wore plastic gloves on his hands.

"Hello."

The inside of the shop was...Tandava wasn't sure what he had been expecting, but it wasn't quite this. It was run down, even dirty in some places though not too many. Tiles on the floor were cracked, the counter chipped, and it was generally...slightly grim.

He liked it.

The man at the counter--Tandava discarded his care about hiding his eyes and looked directly at him. He was...different. He could sense it, somehow--he didn't know what it meant, or how or why he knew, only that the butcher was definitely not a human.

"Hello," Tandava said after a pause, nodding once at the shorter person. "I am the visitor mentioned before." He figured that the butcher would know what he meant. "You are Fenrir?"

"I am."

He patted at the pocket on his apron, where his journal was resting. The thin, yellowish leather poked out slightly from his pocket.

"And you are?"

Tandava thought it over...but then, he had already shown him his eyes, and he would never gain access to the knives and other tools of bloodshed anonymously unless he had to kill this Fenrir--and while he was wary of squaring off against a clearly nonhuman unknown, he still felt confident. Either way, it seemed like the course of action was clear.

"Tandava," He said simply, shaking back his long blond hair so that his eyes were clearly visible.
