Location: Unlucky's residence.

Summary: Unlucky and Rabbit go after a dragon in search of treasure.

Rabbit had a bad habit of sneaking up on people and today was no exception.

"Yo, Unlucky ♥~" Rabbit said suddenly appearing behind the other, two brooms propped on his shoulder. No one was quite sure how he managed to do it every time so successfully but it was almost some bizarro hidden talent.

He didn't have the map with him, but he'd memorized every bit of it: the map itself, the ink it was written with, the creases and tears in the paper. It was all captured within his memory. And with it, they would find a dragon.

Supposedly.

They were going treasure hunting! Sweet. As soon as Renae received that last reply allowing her to join in, she grabbed her staff and ran out the door. Her own maps were tucked away safely in her satchel; she had memorized them by now, even though she hadn't acted on them yet.

It didn't take her long to reach the temporary housing, and she spotted Rabbit just in time. Heading over, she waved and flashed them a smile. "Hey. So, are you guys ready? I can't wait to take on that dragon!"

Unlucky's eyes got a little wider, but that was all he outwardly portrayed of his surprise. Unlucky turned.

"Ah, Rabbit," he said, lifting his hand a little in greeting, but otherwise deadpanning his speech as usual.

The large green eyes of the dark haired man turned to the girl as she arrived. His lids drooped to annoyed.

"Who are you?" Rabbit had no mentioned anything about a third person.

Rabbit grinned, unphased by the sudden arrival of another party member. "This is Renae. She wanted t' come along 'n see the dragon." He offered a friendly wave to Renae, then turned back to Unlucky. "Seemed a bit wiser t' take another along, yeah? Hope ya don't mind."

Renae frowned at the unfriendly response, then darted a look at Rabbit. "You didn't mention me? Tch, it might help if we were all on the same page." She looked back at the other guy and nodded. "What he said. I'm tougher than I look, and I know how to take care of myself. Another person might mean a better shot at getting the treasure, too. So are we going to stand around and argue or get started?"

"Ah," Unlucky said, flatly. Time would tell if he was alright with this girl or not. He had had luck making friends so far, despite his name, and he liked Rabbit and Eyepatch. "Perhaps another person would be wise for slaying the dragon..." he conceded. Only if she made herself useful.

"Then let us go down to the market and follow the directions on the map," Unlucky said, agreeing with Renae, and looking back to Rabbit for confirmation.

Rabbit nodded, offering a friendly, reassuring grin. "The map said that way," Rabbit pointed, recalling the map from memory.

Renae headed forward, quick on her feet. There was adventure to be had and it wasn't going to happen if they just stood around. She remained silent until they reached the marketplace, not wanting to hold them up. "Okay...unless the directions are different every time, this is the part where we have to skip across that bridge to housekeeping island. Right?"
