He didn't know why he had felt so hungry today, it felt like he had just eaten a horse. He had been enjoying life at sea, the constant motion of the boat was comforting and time seemed to fly by as he just sat there. That is, until he got hungry. Kite was just walking out of the kitchen now. Feeling like he could go an entire week without eating after everything he had just had
( ... )
At first, Cassandra only stared dumbly at the stranger who came by to say hello. It took her a bit to get one out of her musings after all. It only took a minute, and then Cassandra was back to her smiley old self. "Hi!" She chirped back. "Haha, do I look that pathetic?" She joked lightly as she leaned against the ship's railing. "I guess I do," she confirmed.
"Cassandra," she introduced herself with an outstretched hand.
He stood there with a smile on his face as he looked at her. "No no.. not at all. I didn't mean to give you that impression." Kite reached out and shook Cassandra's hand. "My name is Kite."
Normally Kite walked around with his blindfold on, as it usually kept people from randomly walking up to him. But today for some reason he had left his makeshift home without it. As a result one would have to be paying close attention to his actions to be able to tell that he was in fact blind.
"So whats a cute girl like you doing out here all alone?"
His hand was large and warm, Cassandra found, as she shook it in her own. She smiled and gazed into his light eyes - that was the polite thing to do when speaking with someone, after all. Though, she found that his gaze was a bit more distant when he looked at her. She shrugged it off and continued their polite conversing.
But then his polite conversing made her blush. It really wasn't every day that she got such compliments! And it wasn't really that she believed she was cute at all. Cassandra couldn't help but stutter, "M-me..? Uh... just.. just thinking!" She eeped out. Never before has she remembered feeling so frazzled in this life time.
