She stepped out behind Cross onto the floor. Medium watched the scene unfold. She was fascinated and horrified with it. The screams were so well done, the pain seemed so real. She allowed her hands to raise to her open mouth. Who was Tyki Mikk? What was the Ark?

It was so violent. She had seen violence before, been attacked by Prongs's and Shumi's evil twins, but this was another thing. The boys couldn't fight back. But they would be okay, right? Good always won out over evil. They would eventually escape, she was sure of it.

It would be a very bad story to have the good guys stuck and lose. She guessed by the hair that the white-haired boy was the good one in this case. That was always true. White meant good. She sneaked a glance at Cross.

Oh...

Was he the white-haired one in this vision? He looked very similar...

"You have to escape!" Medium shouted at the vision, as if this would encourage the redhead to escape...?

"Allen!" Dash yelled as the redhead grabbed his friend and saved him. He clenched his fists as the memory played out in front of him, then faded. He stepped back and shook his head, teeth gritted.

Ark? Tyki Mikk?

"Cross? Buddy?" He looked around for his friend, who'd been missing as soon as the memory started--or had been in the memory...Or something. He spotted Medium first, than Cross, and grabbed the girl's sleeve as he hauled her towards his friend.

"Let's get the hell out of here." He told them both, green eyes wide as he looked back at the empty space, before hauling them towards the elevator. "Knowing this place we've been here like a year watching that--whatever that was. Unicorn guy."

Cross had stood stock still since the memory started. He was frozen to the spot as Tyki changed into something out of a nightmare. He knew it had been that man's dream he'd witnessed before. The madness and sense of loss twisted inside of him as he curled his hands into tight fists. He had to save him from that. He couldn't let Tyki and others like him fall to this horrid insanity.

Whatever it was that caused them to suffer he would remove it...somehow. If only he could remember how to do that. The sword fit what Lucy had said, and the dream. Some part of him hadn't wanted to believe it existed and was real. But the proof in his own memories wasn't something to be denied. Either way he was grateful for Dash being there. He quickly dove for the elevator when it was all over and held it open for the girl and his friend.

"...That wasn't supposed to happen." He breathed quietly and his fingers tightened their grip on the door. The vague feelings told him everything had gone so wrong. "I was only trying to save him."
