He stepped up to Snap's makeshift-desk, lifting a brow as he did so. It had been rather surprising to him, to have been suddenly named second-in-command of the Adventurers... but who was he to argue the decision? Besides, it gave him something to do and a certain sense of worth that he had been missing for quite some time.
He slipped off his coat and set it on an unoccupied corner of the desk, glancing about at the papers and.. well.. everything else. At his heels was the small dog, tugging at his pant leg. He had tried to get it to stay, but it had insisted upon following him.
"What can I help with?"

He picks up the stack of personal files and sets them down before himself. "We have a few new recruits that need felt out. Could you watch them see how they react to things?" He holds out two of those files to him. "Naturally I'll hear their reports and it is high time standard equipment was discussed. What we decide here I'll broach with the man giving us our paychecks."

"And... I'm glad that they'll be meeting one another and establishing some sort of tie before beginning work. At least then they'll have an idea of how to act around one another
"What are we, this guy's fucking lapdog? Goddamnit..."
Fullmetal and Eyepatch... He knew Fullmetal from his.. situation with Praise, though thankfully nothing so far had really come of that (that he knew of), and Eyepatch was Zombie's 'twin', so to speak... The one that was interested in nothing more than simply scouting ahead. He was sure to be the bigger handful in this small group.

"Hello!" she said with a smile. "My name's Cara."

She maintained a professional air around her, standing straight, speaking in a clear tone as she introduced herself. After all, she had an image to keep.
"Steel, reporting in."

When he arrives there are already some others there. He spots Cara and waves, nodding to Steel as well.

He shifted in his seat and picked up a stack of papers to organize. "I ask you keep your eyes and ears open for any signs of what causes the changes as always."

He holds up a hand to show he's not done as he continues on. "Even scouts should have a weapon just in case. You never know what this place will throw and I'd rather not see any of you unprepared."

Even when she'd had to fight the various things the Sphere had thrown at her and Pure, peeps or otherwise, it had always been hand-to-hand she had institutionally responded with. She responded to attacks with chops, kicks, and punches, never wanting a weapon.
The bird-girl frowned. She didn't even know what she was good with, aside from punching. "I'll take a gun." After all, even she could fire one of those.

"Oh, well I have this," Prongs said as he reached towards his pants pocket and pulled out the thin stick. To most people in the room, it probably didn't look like it could do much of anything, but Prongs thought nothing of it. He knew the power that this wand held.
"I channel my magic through it. I guess you could say this is my weapon," he further explained, and twirled the wand around his fingers for a flourish.
