Floating.

A sense of falling, and then the blackness eases.

Light begins to filter through closed eyelids. A crack of light appears as he opened his eyes, and shock forces them open completely.

A bubble races past his left ankle to what must be the top of whatever he is in. His heart racing, he moves his hands around, trying to find the walls of whatever he's in. A soft wall meets his touch, and he recoils as his fingers make contact. His mind reels, but he manages to get control of himself. Good, control is good. He tries to remember. His name? Anything? Witch Boy? He tries to remember where he remembers that name. From a dream? Yes, that's it. Knowing this, he raises his arms and pushes at the slimy walls of whatever he's in. They begin to crack and fall open, and his head breaks the surface of the liquid. He can't see a thing, and what he can see is blurry and undefined. His eyes gradually get used to the low light, and he sees a figure close by, with his or her head inclined towards him with an expression of anxiety.

Flight rushed forward. "Oh... Aah!" She offered her hands out to him, only to remember she had forgotten the towels and turned around to rush back for the specially-created packs. "Um... Hello!" She tried, offering the towel out to him and then the pack. "Welcome to Edensphere."

Good start, Flight! "You're not hurt are you? I'm so sorry I didn't know when you'd be coming..." She was starting to babble. "I know the liquid can be really weird, but you can just dry off with the towel and then I can explain some more stuff if you want."

She shoved her glasses back up to their proper place.

His eyes had still not become completely accustomed to the light as he gazed at the rapidly talking person before him. He shook his head. "No, I'm fine, thank you. Edensphere? What is that? And what is your name?" He looked down at the strange liquid all over his body. A lance of fear shot through his heart. He stared, bewildered, into space at a point just past the girl's head. Tried as he might, he couldn't even remember his own name besides something silly, something ridiculous... "Do you know what my name is? All I can remember is Witch Boy, and that sounds too silly to be my name. Why can't I remember anything?" He rubbed his temples in frustration. The liquid was starting to feel really cold. He accepted the towel and swabbed it off his body methodically starting near the head and working down to the feet. "What's in the package?" He said, pointing to the small bundle she carried.

She shifted from foot to foot, unsure. "There are clothes in here for you and a journal. You can stay at the Temporary Housing for a little bit, but then you need a job, and well, that's how Edensphere works. I'm your greeter, Flight." She took a breath and continued, not noticing her glasses slip down her nose. "You can't remember anything because no one knows and you've forgotten everything! I'm very sorry about that. I wish I could remember too! Umm... Did I miss anything?"

The woman dug around her pocket and produced a piece of paper. "Oh... oh..." She gave a small frown. "I forgot to rewrite the list..."
