Hybrid resisted the urge to crush something, forced the thickening hair on her arm back inside its skin, and shoved her way into the elevator. She was big now, about the size of a full-grown man. With muscles. She hated it. She hated the body, hated the size, hated how cumbersome it felt, how much pain she felt when she was angry. Not to mention the obnoxiously huge wings on her back that didn't work well and hurt like hell, not that she'd admit that to Pure or to anyone at all.
In any case, his body didn't allow her to work. To be herself. It was getting on her nerves rapidly, and this body even had a short temper to boot. She pitied the other person in the elevator.

Not just any man either--that same man she'd been before, the one with the features that taunted her from the mirror with their familiarity. He--the body she was in--was perfect. Perfect dark brown hair, beautiful brown, playful eyes. Well defined facial structure, smooth skin, and soft hands that felt as though they had never touched a tool in their lives. The clothes she woke up in were high quality and, oh my goddess, the shoes! They were the finest leather!
So it was so confusifying as to why she felt so sad, gazing into the mirror. It was torture, to see this perfect stranger and feel nothing but an inner sorrow. She felt loss. Without any context it all, it made her hate herself and that was definitely unfamiliar territory for the ditzy blond ( ... )

Wait. Wings?
"Hybrid?" He asked, trying to look astonished, but ending up just looking intimidated again. Apparently, the only expression this guy could pull off was threatening. "You get knocked by this bodyswitch too? Scales here."

What kind of sicko was this?
"Just... get us moving, Scales." If that's who you are. Even in this elevator, her paranoia, hatred of small spaces, and discomfort was sending warning signals into her brain. She wanted to get out and if it meant breaking a few heads in the process, well, she would deal. "And, you, person. Don't touch the wings." With a glare at the handsome man, which ended up giving her some wolfish features and a predator's grin, she hoped to cow that person. She was at the end of her patience ( ... )

..And looked straight up into some impressive teeth. "AHHHH!" It was an impressive scream, apparently this body had a great set of lungs on him. The scream was doubled once she saw the other strange bird man. "AIEE!"
She would have jumped out of the elevator, but of course the door was closed. Perfect. Instead she cowered on the wall farthest from the two. "DON'T EAT ME! I DON'T WANT TO DIE AS A MAN!!"

"What is up with you?" He asked, rolling his big bird eyes. "Though I wholehearedly appreciate the judging." The voice was dry, and his blue wings ruffled by some unknown instinctive habit. "You don't look very delicious at all though, to be honest."
