Characters: Krile/Cara, Selphie/Lucy and Tamaki/King Date/Time: March 8, afternoon Location: The Wilderness Rating: G Summary: Lucy and Cara head down to the Wilderness to get King unlost. Hijinks ensue?
Cara glanced over at Lucy to make sure that she was still holding up all right as the elevator doors slid open, then stepped out into the warm sun. "So," she said, "what does King look like? I met him before, but that was when people were getting turned into little kids and everything."
King sat in place, staring down at the journal in his lap. He felt bad for making Lucy feel so bad. He really wished that he was told that he needed to bring a companion to the Wilderness... King was having so much fun at the beach too and then this happened. He sighed to himself, waiting for anyone to come by.
Then, he heard someone talking. It sounded far away but he could still hear it. Plus, they had mentioned his name. King jumped up and found his way over to where two other women were. He reconized Cara and immediatly concluded that the other was Lucy. At once, he hugged Cara. "Thank you so much for helping us out!" He said cheerfully, ignoring how much shorter she was now that he was back to normal. King turned Lucy and hugged her softly, unsure of how hurt she was. Plus, he hadn't met her in person. He put on a handsome smile and looked at the two. "Thank you. I really wish I knew..." He then turned to Lucy. "Are you alright?"
"Well..." Lucy trailed off. "I've only talked to him a couple times through the journals so I don't know what he looks like."
She laughed sheepishly before an energetic blond came to meet them. He hugged Cara vivaciously, not really caring about an obvious height difference. Then, he was hugging Lucy. It was a gentle hug but she returned it, her arms wrapping around his waist before craning her neck to look up at him. She smiled before nodding slightly.
"I'm getting there," she replied. "You're not hurt or anything?"
Oh, well, apparently King didn't have any trouble recognizing them. "Hi!" was all Cara had time to say as the much-taller King hugged her quite unexpectedly. She didn't have time to figure out whether she ought to return the hug or not before he moved onto Lucy, which was kind of a relief.
She looked King up and down at Lucy's question, but she really doubted he'd be hurt. Though it was understandable that Lucy was worried, considering that the Wilderness wasn't usually this, well, tame.
King shook his head. "Why would I be hurt?" He asked. "You're the one I am worried about. You're supposed to be resting!" He turned to Cara. "Were you guys okay coming up here?" King sighed. He felt bad that she had to go out of her way to help him when she was hurt.
