The walk to the Aquarium was completely uneventful. With the bottles no longer following him, he was blending back into the small crowd on marketplace island. The park was nearly deserted when he got to that island, and from there it was only a short bridge to the aquarium.
He'd never been to the aquarium before, and so there was a fair deal of wandering between tanks of fish until he found the larger, outdoor tanks. There was a splash behind him, and for a moment he could have sworn that the large...tentacled thing in the tank behind him was...waving. He backed away from the tank quickly, and when he looked in the direction that it was waving, he spotted Iris ( ... )

"Hello dearheart!" He cooed, hands fluttering around in expansive gestures as he spoke. "It's been ever so long since I got to spend time with you, you know."
With that slight scolding over with, Iris opened the basket and began to rummage, setting out the various items of picnic goodness he had stored.

For a moment, he debated telling Iris what he'd told Bastet. She would understand, right?
"And we kind of...things have been a bit weird for the past couple of weeks. I found out Justice, well..."
He paused, letting out a deep breath. Well, if he was going to tell her anything, he'd have to start from the beginning. He took a sip of his cocoa before continuing.
"He's...he's gay. So we had that talk and things have been a little weird ever since."

"Been weird?" Iris questioned as he poured himself a cup of cocoa and lounged against the fluffy blanket. Gold eyes scrutinized Truth curiously.
"Because he's gay?" Iris's expression turned somber for a moment, honestly serious as he considered the implications. He knew he freaked people out--flamboyant flouncing men in dresses tended to scare those of more conservative sentiments, but he would never change who he was just to fit in and be accepted.
He wondered how Justice must feel to have things turn awkward with his best friend over the matter.
"Why is it weird dear?" Iris's smile returned, mischievous. "Do you fancy him?"

He choked, coughing for a few seconds and waving a hand out.
"I'm fine, I'm fine."
He thumped a fist against his chest a few times and took a drink of cocoa.
"Yeah, maybe."
