Blood was excited, usually she ended up going to the Scavenger's Lot alone but today she was going to be meeting up with Kensei to go scavenging. There was something about his name that pinged Blood uncomfortably, but she wasn't sure why. She thought back to her panda bear, which she had named 'Kenchan', and wondered for a moment if she had misheard the name in her dream. Kensei didn't seem tall enough though, for some reason. And she didn't remember the guy in her dream wearing glasses either.

Blood had asked all of her friends if they wanted to come along, but Ghost had been busy and everyone else except Alexi had said 'maybe'. Still, she ran as quickly as possible to meet up with her new friend, hoping Alexi would be along soon. On the way she had noticed Shumi and invited him along too, just because the more the merrier.

"Hiya Ken-ken! My friend Blondie might show up, and I met this guy on the way, hee!"

Shumi grinned sheepishly. "I actually lost my own sword," He said, rubbing the back of his head. There were still some bandages around his arms, a healing cut on his cheek, and a couple others underneath his clothes. They didn't give him much trouble and now that he had some others with him, he didn't have to worry about being defenseless.

Either way, he needed to see if his sword was in the Scavenger Yard, since he never found it again at the Marketplace.

He held out his hand. "I'm Shumi!"

Searching around through garbage wasn't exactly on the top of Alexi's priority list, but time and journal entries had taught him that sometimes people found cool things there that couldn't be purchased in the market. He very much wanted pedals and other equipment for his guitar, so when Blood asked him to come along, who was he to refuse?

Besides, it had been awhile since they had last been on a Viking Adventure.

He made his way down to the Yard, spotting the familiar tuft of pink hair. "Hey, Little Pinks," he called out as he approached the group, though he soon realized he didn't recognize the other two. He nodded slightly in greeting. "Hey. I's Alexi."

Renae knew she ought to have remained at home. Those harpies were still at large and she wasn't exactly a top-notch warrior. Common sense dictated waiting until Helios had returned or Cara was available or pairing up with someone else. Going alone was silly and irresponsible.

She knew this, but she was bored. It had been a couple of days since stepping outside, so the stir-crazy girl made her way to the elevator and decided on the Scrapyard. There wasn't anything in particular she was looking for, but she almost always found something interesting during each trek there. If trash golems gave her any trouble today, she'd just run. Not worth trying to fight them, should she be without company.

That turned out to be less of an issue than Renae thought, for as she made her way around, she heard voices up ahead. Curious, she approached upon spotting them. "Hi! I'm Renae. Are you all Scavengers, too?" She didn't think there were this many, but the more, the merrier.

Laughing, Kensei ran up to the four mismatched warriors. Seeing three he didn't recognize, he turned to each of front of them and bowed. No matter who he met, Kensei always had the compulsion to bow. He assumed he had learned it somewhere important.

"Hello. It's is good to meet you. I am Kensei." He had his face parallel to the ground, speaking solemnly. It was instants like these that Kensei became serious. Here, he did not laugh. He had learned not to, understanding it was a point of respect. Disrespect was not something he wished upon people he hardly knew. He had a sense it had got him into trouble sometime before. Yet, his composure changed as he arose. Looking towards Renae, his smile was as wide as before.

"We are going to search for some swords. All great people need a great weapon. Today, we are going to find ours." Kensei looked at the other three, waving his fist with enthusiasm. "Isn't that right!"
