Pixie had just thrown her shirt on when Bubbles showed up to take her around Edensphere. She'd spent all morning cutting the back out of it so her wings could fit through comfortably, while still maintaining some form of dignity. Her face spread into a smile that seemed too big for her face when she spotted who she assumed to be Bubbles.

Once they got to the Marketplace, Pixie immediately began looking around. Her eyes unable to stay on one thing for long. She also couldn't help but to notice a few staring at her. She'd expected as much. She was green, after all.

"New clothes?" She picked at the fabric of her shirt. Sure, it wasn't too fashionable but not entirely bad looking. Maybe she'd hold onto it for a rainy day or something. "I don't have any money."

Bubbles cast a pitying look on her new friend. As dainty as she looked in a shirt, it would never do! Especially one that looked so ratty!

"Oh surely someone will understand your predicament!" She exclaimed. It never occurred to the blond to offer to pay for Pixie. One got the feeling there were few times where Bubbles had to pay for anything at all. "I mean, look at you. It would be a shame to let a young girl look like this for very long. The organization here for newborns is simply horrifying, don't you agree? Not everyone appreciates one size fits all smocks and flopsy shoes."

Then she brightened. "Oh I know! We should look for my friend Alexi. He's a dear heart. He bought me clothes when it was my first week in Edensphere. Such a wonderfully fashionable man. Perhaps we should eat while we're here too. Until then, let me show you around. Do you like it here so far?"

Pixie couldn't help but smile at the other girl. In such a short time, she'd jumped from discussing her clothes to eating. "It's not too bad." She continued to walk with Bubbles for a bit, all while trying her hardest to ignore the stares she was getting.

Her iridescent wings fluttered wildly behind her, sending a shower of rainbow-sparkles with every movement, almost as though they had a mind of their own and wanted desperately to take her high into the air. Though, at the moment, they were just erratic movements incapable of lifting a bug, let alone her. The green-skinned girl hadn't quite gotten the hang of controlling them just yet, but she knew with a little time she'd be flying in no time.

"So, how did you and this Alexi guy meet?"

For her part, Bubbles couldn't help but stare at Pixie's wings with a mixture of horror and fascination. Wings on a young girl...that wasn't right! But on the other hand, they were. So. Pretty! The rainbows reminded her of the sea of bubbles she'd seen in her dream.

"Oh I met Alexi on the journals. He has a very distinct way of writing," she said with a sigh, "and speaking. But ohhhhh what fashion he has! I must admit I don't quite understand him sometimes, but we are the bestest of friends! Maybe more than that. We are so destined for each other!!!"

It would be interesting to see if Alexi (or Alexi's boyfriend Kanin) felt the same way.

She turned to Pixie with a excited giggle. "What about you? Do you have a friend or a sibling? I have one--Trip. She is a very lovely girl, a bit of a deep thinker. One doesn't always know how her mental clock ticks. But she is family I suppose."

Pixie could feel it. The stare coming from Bubbles. It was starting to make her a little uneasy. Sure, she was starting to get used to people staring at her. When it came to people she knew, however, it was a different story. Even someone like Bubbles, whom she'd just met.

"I only have a brother. Other than the man who was there when I was born, you're the only other person I've met here."
