Yoru was out exploring shortly after he arrived since he got bored staying in one spot. Unfortunately though, he got lost. He supposed he should've asked Ghost to come with him but seeing as how that's a bit too late, Yoru figured he might as well try to find a way out himself.

He paused a bit when he heard someone talking and curiously walked over. That's when he saw a guy talking to himself. Yoru raised an eyebrow.

"Are you lost too?" he asked.

Brooklyn jumped at the voice, then shut up his rambling and shakily stood up, glad to see another person at last. He wasn't sure how long he'd been wandering the Wilderness, but it was quite a while, and he was quite upset- worried about Scales and angry at himself.

"Yeah!" he said, then noticed in another nearby mirror that his nose was still dripping blood; he fished around in his backpack before finding a napkin and pinching his nose shut with it, speaking around it. "Idt's SO good to fid subone else, I'b not sure how I would'b egcaped odurwide." He paused. "I don't think we'b bet. I'b Brooklyn."

Yoru almost smirked at that. He found it a bit amusing to hear the other speak like that, but it was good to find someone else out here.

"Nice to meet you Brooklyn. The name's Yoru."

"Oh! I thing we talked ober the jourdal," said Brooklyn, a lot of his fear and anger quickly ebbing away. He took the napkin away from his nose so that he could talk properly, realizing it was probably too little, too late anyway. He wasn't sure if it was broken and would have to get it checked out at the clinic when he got back. "Have you been down here long? I went to go look for Scales, but I got lost... I hope he's alright..."
