It was amazing, how free he was. After taking a tumble in the snow, Raise and Praise had found themselves, once again, separated. After realizing they might not be back together any time soon, praise had taken the first opportunity he had to leave the house and go explore on his own. He was fascinated, not having to struggle for control, or put up with the constant whining or pleads in the back of his mind.. even when he acted with Raise was asleep, there was still the faint reservation about waking the original. This was a complete freedom.

And so he made his way to the park, having stopped by their- or rather, Raise's- place of employment to steal something to eat (Like hell he was going to pay for that,) and make his way to the park. Not like the sadistic half had anything better to do.

His attention was drawn quickly as he approached the trees, noting.. a woman in a tree, eating a cheeseburger like there was no tomorrow. Scratch that.

A rather attractive woman in a tree. His brows raised in evident interest, a grin slowly ( ... )

This was a delicious cheeseburger. A cheeseburger topped with everything he could possibly imagine. He was actually a little sad at the possibility of not being able to each everything cheeseburgers anymore. Even getting back his scales and his tail might actually not be worth not being able to eat extra-everything pizzas and root beer. He finished the burger and licked his fingers as he noticed the face and voice asking him if he was cold.

He opened his mouth to say something and then recalled it. This could go shockingly well. The kind of well that things should never go. He looked down at Praise and could barely control his laughter.

"A little," he answered, looking down at him. It was true, though really he was too busy enjoying the energy to care about the cold. "But it feels nice."

"A little cold, but feels nice?" he tilted a head lifting a brow. Her manners could be better, but he couldn't say anything about watching her lick her fingers. The man chuckled, breath coming out in a frosty mist as he reached up to grab another branch and easily pull himself up. He sat on the branch slightly below and to the side of the girl.

"You have a name?" He asked, tilting his head with a smirk. Well, if she wasn't cold, he wouldn't press for questions. "Mine's Praise."

Well, she was quiet... but that couldn't be helped.

After a moment of consideration, he slipped from his branch to the one next to Praise. It was a good thing he'd practiced a little bit without the counterweight of his tail - he might have fallen flat off the tree. The practice, though, had returned to him his usual impeccable balance. "Yeah. I like the chilly weather. Makes me feel more energetic. That's why I'm in a tree."

Scales obviously was not going to work for a name, though. There was a serious problem there. "I'm Flare," he said. There was pretty quick-thinking for you. "Praise is a good name. I like it."

Spike came to the park, meaning what he'd said about needing to get out of the house more, and looked around for Scales. He wasn't sure exactly WHAT he was looking for, but he had to admit to himself that he was curious what the big lizard had changed into.

Logan was at his heel, mooing loudly at everything living that he could see.

"Remind me to never take you along on something that requires subtlety," he told the dog.

"MMMMMOOOOOOOOO," Logan responded.

"I think you've picked up a cow in the ninja shape of a robot dog," came his quite-girly voice from the tree. It might have been a little difficult to understand, as his mouth was probably also filled with cheeseburger. "I don't exactly know how that works, but you did manage to pull it off. Congratulations."
