Meetings! [Closed]

Location: Right outside of the Excalibur
Rating: PG ( ? Pfft... what could happen?)
Summary: Kira going to meet up with Note, to stick together and not run into any kind of undead Zombies.

Of course, Note didn't have much to do other than wait. The flashing colors of the hotels around him gave him the vague sense that he was in Las Vegas, but he couldn't be sure. Geography had never been his strong point, and besides, he wasn't too worried about where he was. All he cared about was whether the undead was lurking around the corner or not. For the moment, he was safe, but that could change at any time.

Where was Kira? It had been an hour and ten minutes since he'd heard from the man, and he was annoyed. One does not say 'I will be right there,' and then show up incredibly late, Note thought to himself, biting at the skin of his thumb.

That was about the time that a young man came racing down the strip, coming to a stop in front of Note. Note raised an eyebrow, hands falling to his sides and into his pockets, and gave the man a skeptical look.

"I am Note, yes. Would you happen to be Kira?" A pause, and his expression shifts to something slightly irritated. "You are late."

Aheh. There goes that first impression. Right out the window. It was bad enough that his own brother that he was born with here, didn't even acknowledge him as such. Now, Kira had made yet another failed impression. The young man chuckled nervously at the other. Note had been slightly intimidating, but maybe he wasn't like that all the time.

Kira shifted his footing slightly. He guessed it was probably a good idea to explain his lateness. It wasn't like he meant to be late he just got lost... a few or a couple times around before finding a pretty good decent map of the city.

"Yes. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be late. I kind of got lost..."

Note regarded Kira with something of a skeptical look. Though he was sure the man was harmless, something about him irritated Note, irrationally. But, that was ridiculous; Note did not do irrational things. Maybe he was not actually aggravated by Kira-- maybe it was another source. Perhaps the source was his current situation, lost in a city presumably full of zombies. Yes, that must be it.

Note glanced away in an uninterested fashion, dully examining the flashing lights.

"It is quite alright, Kira. It is not like I have anywhere to be." Note said, offering the smallest of smiles in Kira's general direction. It was best to make him comfortable, right? Trust was an important thing.
