Snork. Even though he was every bit as much a victim of this particular prank as everyone else, Drake found some of these song choices rather hysterically funny. He waved to Sky, then looked down -- WAY down -- at Blood and nodded. Yep, he was Drake. He started to say so, but instead what popped out was:

"If I was in World War 2 they'd call me spitfire."

...well then. What the hell was World War 2? He knew what a world was and what a war was, and the '2' obviously implied that there'd been a '1', but it sort of sounded like a reference he was missing. He shrugged it off and nodded to the third person...not sure just who that was, but his information was suggesting it was Kanin. That helped.

He glanced around at all of them and arched an eyebrow. Ready for demo?

Sky firmly decided to keep his mouth shut from now on. Even if he didn't mind looking like an idiot, especially with all of the others affected by the same "joke", it was a little unnerving, wondering what would come out of his mouth that he had absolutely no control over, and no way of understanding.

Kanin was easy enough to spot, Sky just had to look for the guy with the cast. He smiled an flicked out a pen, twirling it through his fingers as he tipped his head to one side, and smiled openly at the little girl. He wasn't sure of who she was, but goodness was she cute.

Turning to Drake, he nodded, then gave a thumb-up. Start the show!

Hearing Drake, wide-eyed at his answer, Blood turned her giant brown eyes upwards to gaze at him open-mouthed. Opening her mouth to respond, she took a deep breath only to come out with -

"Take this pink ribbon off my eyes
I'm exposed
And it's no big surprise
Don't you think I know
Exactly where I stand
This world is forcing me
To hold your hand
'Cause I'm just a girl, little 'ol me
Don't let me out of your sight
I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite
So don't let me have any rights!"

Her nose wrinkled at how incongruous that statement was, but when she went to correct herself, anger evident on her face instead of a tirade she burst out with -

"Oh...I've had it up to here!
The moment that I step outside
So many reasons
For me to run and hide
I can't do the little things I hold so dear
'Cause it's all those little things
That I fear!"

Pure was at home, Hybrid knew she'd stay safe for a little while. She was a good girl. Refusing, as always, to take the elevator, Hybrid chose to fly as nondescriptly as possible to Level 2 and land to walk to the Park. Which, ironically, was the place her bubbles had attracted unwanted attention. She tried not to think about that. She, too, was writing to Kanin, but had stowed the journal before entering the Park ( ... )

Kanin grinned at Blood and mimicked the thumbs-up, reaching out with his uncast arm to ruffle the pink hair. She was so cool and obviously the exact opposite of the first song she'd started singing - heck, Kanin trusted her to be able to get more done than her 'brother', Ghost.

The additional figure in a cloak attracted his attention and he waved madly at them. They should join the fun! And it was bound to be fun, at that.
