He was in the clothes that Iris had given him when he arrived. Not only because she gave them to him, but they were broken in and comfortable. Oh, and he had a pair of sunglasses stuck to his face. His smile widened a bit at her outfit. "You look nice," he commented, coming to a stop next to her. He heard the song of a bird in the trees somewhere high up. When it stopped (paused, at least,) he asked her, "Ready to go?"

Then he asked if she was ready. "Sure!" She surprised herself with the eagerness that escaped her--it seemed she sounded more excited than she'd expected herself to. But she couldn't help it. Iris couldn't wait to see how he'd feel looking around at the floating islands. It was amazing, after all, to see what seemed like an endless sky dotted with islands and twisted vine-like roots or rope bridges. Similarly, one only had to look up, and far up in the distance one would see the canopy of the Majestic Oak.
The brunette practically skipped over to the elevator, pushing the button before turning to look back at Mako. "The farm first? Or is there anywhere else you want to see?"

He leaned against the wall and waited for the elevator door to close. When it did, he realized the elevator had only one light. That is, his vision was blurred to pretty much darkness and faint outlines of figures (well, figure, in this case, being Iris) because of the shades. "He-hey. Who turned out the lights?" he asked in an attempt at a joke.

--she wanted to do it.
And, of course, first things first as it probably was close to pitch-black for him in the elevator.
When the doors finally opened up, she tugged him until they were out of the elevator. "Maybe... maybe it's still a little hard for you to see, but here's the second floor." Where they were was at the base of the elevator, and massive roots stretched outward toward what seemed almost like an endless sky with -sure enough- floating islands of different sizes. "But I hope you like it."
