It's a nutty time, isn't it? 1700 comments and we're not even a week in. I love this fest. I really do. Your contributions, as always, are terrific.

It's certainly moving fast! I don't know how on earth you're keeping up with your inbox, but I'm very glad you're hosting the fest again this year. :-)

Here's a little secret. I'm not. I do skim a lot of it under a filter, and I admit there was an exchange about a lack of a dub con warning on one that went boy and I do wish that one person would tone down a few things, but just because it's not my thing doesn't mean it's not someone else's. I figure that no one's complaining and like me, everyone figures out pretty quickly what they like and don't like and can scroll by quickly. No one's making anyone play. I'm really worried that if I say anything, it will make everyone clam up, and we don't want that. There's a theory about "good speech" driving out "bad speech" in First Amendment jurisprudence and that's part of it -- if there's something that is a problem, it's going to get buried by 30 things that are not in very short order. So I let it go and that assumes I saw it.
