My computer died today. Took it to Best Buy to get data off hard drive, and bought new laptop, which I'd meant to do for a while. Guess life got tired of me waiting. *sigh*

Will see if I can get laptop set up and allowed access to Upstairs Neighbors' wireless network tonight. Wish me luck?

That computer has been dying for a while! Remember what happens in the summer!! I know it's never an expense you want, but good luck and it will be fun to have a new one.

Yeah, it had been dying for years. I was just hoping I could keep limping along for another few months. :-/ But whatever, I have a new laptop now, my data should be recoverable, and I will have a functional mouse and keyboard in less than a week (because laptop keyboard and touchpads are EVIL), so it's probably all for the best.

Now I just have to do my federal taxes and hope my refund will help cover these expenses...
