Ahaha, I could see Ino picking Hinata too! But man will their friendship be different than Ino and Sakura's. I can't see Hinata confronting Ino and breaking it off because she needs to be out of her shadow. Is Hinata still going to crush on Naruto?

Yes, she will. I have this terrible feeling that Hinata and Ino might egg each other on, actually -- Ino going after Sasuke and Hinata going after Naruto. Which would be all kinds of funny to watch. :-)

I admit it; I forgot Shinnin.... I assume she would have been one of the 21 kids who failed the jounin instructor's test.

Yes, Shinnin is one of the unnamed kids who failed the post-graduation test. After that glorious, distant day when I finish "Guardian," I might write a few shorts to show how the changes continue to spiral out. Among other things, in this world there are four genin teams that pass: Teams 7, 8, and 10 as in canon (because I love Team 7, Team 8 is adorable, and Team 10 was set up due to politics that will not change), but also Team 6, composed of Shinnin, Haruka, and Yuuhi Tora, an as-yet unseen male OC.
