[Fic] "Secrets" index page -- Harry Potter

Secrets is the second fanfiction story I started writing, back in May 2002. It's 15 chapters and an epilogue, of which 11 12 13 chapters are currently completed and posted. I hope to have the story finished by my 25th birthday. *crosses fingers* (ETA, 11/4/07: Okay, by my 26th birthday, maybe?)

I think some of the FA chapters still have Tom calling Ginny "Virginia" instead of "Ginevra," which tells you how long it's been since I tried editing them... *sigh*

they haea whole team of coders and editors adn they seem to be always very busy. it sounds like a full-time job to me.
I know yo usoudn liek somene who works best when there's a deadline but i nthis case y9ou'll probalby wantto remember that you'ren ot obligedt ofinish it for anyoen but yoruself.

Nice to meet you! I swear I am working on chapter 12, and I know what happens between chapter 11 and the end of the story -- I just have to get it on paper, and between one thing and another, that keeps taking a long time. *sigh*

Hey, I just found this story yesturday on ff.net (and reviewed ^^. I have the same user name there)

I justed wanted to say again that I love this story :-) Ginny is my favorite character, and you do a great job of setting put all of the 'background' information for CoS.

(random side note: why do people like those Naruto fics who change the storyline so much without any good reasons...)

I can't wait to see the next chapter :-) (though I do understand that you do have a life outside of fandom...)

Backstory and world-building are two of my not-so-secret obsessions, so that part of "Secrets" has been a lot of fun for me.

As for why people like Naruto fics that change the storyline with no good reason, I really can't say. I'm still not sure why people like The Way of the Apartment Manager either, which is the story I was referring to, but at least there I know that I had reasons for any changes I made!

(Granted, my reason for changing Kakashi's age was basically "I didn't know there were official timelines so I guessed his age based on his appearance and position in the manga, and anyway, child developmental psychology makes it very unlikely for a kid to be able to pass a chuunin exam at age six, so given that his official timeline makes no sense, please stop telling me that I made him too old," but still, it's a reason. *grin*)

Oh, I haven't read that story yet, so I was referring to something else...

And plus, your reason does make sense (I never really understood the ages in Naruto anyway...)
