Eden performed at Musical Mondays at The Star Spot in West Hollywood on Monday. Maybe she's been watching the Chess in Concert DVD as much as I have? ;)

LA's Reprise Theater Group was supposed to mount a production of Chess this last May. Then for some reason (maybe PBS) it disappeared off the schedule. This makes me wonder if they're thinking about scheduling it for next year...because there was a lot of buzz that if it happened, Eden would be playing Florence.

Intriguing....

I recently bought chess on dvd after hearing los angeles wouldnt show it on pbs. a week or two after it came, it came up on my tivo in hd. I was kind of pissed, but the dvd is uncensored, idina says s#!t, but its silenced on pbs.
I havent watched it yet, just skipped through a couple songs. is it any good?
the songs to me aren't that catchy. kind of expected mama mia I guess :)

besides the concerts and cd in the works, what else is Eden up to? to me it seems like she left theater for now.

It's so sweet that she has basically no clue of the lyrics. At first I was like... is it me or is she mixing some lines up and then came the Fuck-moment and I couldn't stop laughing. She should do Florence (and learn the lines properly before that) then 3 of my favorite ladies would have played Florence in Chess. Now that would be something xD

when i first saw this video was up i was so excited - 'ooh! Eden, and Chess! What could be better?' But it's not that great. Julia's is still far and away the best performance of this song that i've seen.

I still believe she'd better when actually remembering the lyrics. But you're right, no one can beat Julia's version. She just owned her songs in Chess. She generally does, but that's not the point xD
