"Allan?"
Allan looked up, smiling a little at Will as he plopped down beside him. Their legs brushed against each other as Will moved close, quiet for now, though Allan already knew there was something on his mind. He wasn't very subtle about that, really. He nudged him gently. "Go on, say it. Whatever you're thinking so hard about."
Will was frowning slightly. That was one of his rather endearing habits while he was thinking things over in detail, but Allan wasn't in the mood to sit and patiently wait for him to drag out whatever he wanted to say. He nudged him again, gently. Will sighed.
"You said you like Djaq."
"And you said you love her."
His eyes flickered from Allan's eyes to the floor to Allan's face again. "Djaq is my friend. Like... like a sister to me. I was hoping that if I said that, Robin would..."
Allan shrugged slightly. "Me too."
"So it doesn't... change anything?"
Allan rolled his eyes at Will, moving a little closer to him and putting an arm around him, squeezing him briefly before letting go. That was all that needed to be done. He felt a little tenseness ease out of Will's body and relaxed a little himself. Everything was still just right.
