A new Dr. Who movie may be in the works. But-- it would spin off the lame US version from 1996 and bear no relationship to the truly excellent series being broadcast now.

Interesting. ...because the new series makes a slight reference to the previous tv movie doctor, at least in reference to the number of rejuvenations.
