Harlan Ellison is as relentless in dreams as he is in real life. Just thought you'd want to know that.

Also, Klaatu's "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft" was covered by a band of somewhat greater repute, the Carpenters. Here's a video of the latter performance.

I have the If I Were A Carpenter tribute cd which contains the cover by Babes In Toyland. (not a very successful cover from what I remember, but they (Babes In Toyland) also weren't a band I liked much.)

I used to have that Carpenters album. It was a pretty decent one, one of the last done before Karen Carpenters' death.

I currently have both versions of that song on my iPod, and enjoy both of them a whole lot, though the Carpenters version has a tongue-in-cheek intro.
