That is beyond priceless. Each to their own, but... usually not in the classroom, quite so much. How did he weave aliens into philosophy? Or was he warning you, kind of "you are my students and I don't want you to die unprepared when the invasion hits"? People are so fun. I wanna see something of this character, too!
He actually did weave aliens into philosophy. I wish I had paid more attention in class, because it really was neat.
And the book he wrote, the one I've got "Is ET Here?" actually does go in-depth with a combination of aliens and philosophy, especially the politicization of academia and how people scoff at UFO sightings despite untold numbers of documented cases.
If I wasn't a believer before, I think it would be Dr. Trundle's class that made me so.
