Eddie wondered if he was cheering Jason up at all. "Just a few days. You won't even have time to notice I'm gone before I'm back." He poked Jason in the side to get a reaction of some sort, hoping for one of Jason's blinding smiles.

Jason smiled a little and grabbed at Eddie's finger, tugging it and using it to pull Eddie into a smoldering kiss.

Eddie returned the kiss, relieved that Jason maybe wasn't too upset about him going. It was only a few days, not like he was disappearing for a year or something. Nothing to fret about. But if Jason was unhappy then he wouldn't enjoy going nearly as much.

"Just going t'miss you, Yank." Jason whispered against Eddie's lips before diving in for another kiss. "Bring me something back?"

"What would you like? A basket full of squirrels? A moosehead?" Eddie grins and holds Jason tight against him. "I'll bring you back a surprise as long as you promise to kiss me like that when I get back."

Jason melts into Eddie's touch. "Don't I always? And yeah, the bucket of squirrels. I like them yeah." Jason nuzzled up against Eddie's jaw. "When are y'leaving?"

"Don't know. Soonish. Maybe tomorrow or the next day, if we get ourselves organised." Eddie leant into Jason's lips, savouring the feel of them on his skin.

"So tonight," Jason paused to kiss Eddie. "I stay," another deep kiss. "With you." Jason rubs his hips against Eddie's.

"Mmmm." Eddie grins at the contact between them, his hands coming down to rest on Jason's ass and pulling him tight against Eddie. "You gonna give me a pleasant send off, huh?"

"One you won't forget, Yank." Jason whispered pushing back into Eddie's hands. "Mmmm like the feel of that do y'? Something you want? Eh?"

"Something I want a lot," he says softly, carefully walking Jason backwards and towards the stairs and his bedroom.
