whoa... with dredg?! What a weird weird combo. They're barely in the same... genre, like, at all. Also, last time I checked (which was admittedly around 2002), dredg were kinda... underwhelming. I wonder how they've aged.

still doesn't beat the #1 weird lineup for a show in the cities, 2009. that honor goes to Les Claypool, Devotchka, Saul Williams, and Secret Chiefs 3 next week at the Myth. I'm fairly certain that combination in that venue will tear a hole in the space-time continuum.

i thought that was a weird combo too. i dunno about dredg..haven't given them much of a chance, but a friend of mine likes them a lot.
and i had heard Les was coming, but what a weird lineup. promoters are just pairing up whoever lately.

I just heard Mastodon is coming to the Fine Line with Intronaut. I initially thought I'd give my left... anything to see this, but then found out tickets are about SEVENTY DOLLARS. WFT?! When, exactly, did Mastodon become the alias for Elton fucking John? Thanks a lot MTV2.

.. this an interesting entry, sure! i remember seeing a review of Spillane in an old electronics magazine. tho' i ended up finding it used, the music didn't exactly *click*. it wasn't till the first Filmworks ("She Must Be Seeing Things," etc) that i was really blown away. such a vast catalog i have heard but the wee-est fragment of.

Hi! I just got back to this account now. I know, right? He's so hard to crack into, but the better research you do, the better it becomes. Cheers!
