I much prefer your image to the one I posted... the trip being enviable? I didn't get a chance to see a lot of the country we passed through because I couldn't see over the guardrail from the Mini. I didn't step on other than pavement except for the first day when I sat on the I-10 median waiting for my friend to return with a bigger lug wrench and cheater bar when the Mini I was driving had a blowout and we couldn't loosen the wheel lugnuts to change the tire. Not a single stop to get my DSLR out to make an image. Literally, the only stops were for fuel, Taco Bell, Subway, McDonalds and motels as well as several to work on the vehicle. I would not repeat it.
Aw, I'm sorry the trip wasn't what you were hoping.
I actually had an issue with my little Suzuki, with a wheel that wouldn't come off. The lug nuts were off, but the wheel was just stuck fast to the hub. After trying everything up to a sledgehammer, I finally got a length of 4x4 post and a jack, then lifted the side of the car with the stuck tire up off the ground with another jack. I put the post and first jack against the tire on the ground opposite the stuck one and expanded against the stuck tire. I think I nearly pushed the tire off of the rim, but I finally got it off the hub.

And thanks for the compliment.
