moonlight on snow on the Mount Tahoma Trails

My Grandson, Cody, and I were at this location under the past full moon and after photographing the moonrise over Tahoma (aka: Mount Rainier) turned to see this scene.  The glow in the distance is from the light of the Puget Sound area some 50 miles away.  A very lonely place in winter except by snowshoe or crosscountry skis.

S'wonderful and the orange lights on the horizon sorta give it an unreal feeling. Love the blueness of the moon; makes me want to go out this weekend when the moon is full and shoot from Mt Tam in Marin but i think we'll be in the midst of much rain.
