Now Ed, if you've peeked over Cookie's shoulder while she's worked in the past week or so, you already know this is my favorite all-time picture. I soooo would love to be there!!! I'm gonna get me a copy of this one day soon. You can count on it!

The sky's looking seriously dark in that one, Ed, you must have a fantastic view of the stars where you are...

I made this image last autumn at Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks of upstate New York last autumn. It was posted in error. I don't know how it happened because I copied the link to the llamagirls photo and this one which was in a different album that I hadn't opened in a long time came up instead. I was thinking that it was something on the server doing it but really have no clue how it happened.

Peace

That's a great shot, Ed. How peaceful. I want some Adirondack chairs for our own back deck, but we wouldn't have a view quite like this.

I made this photo last autumn at Blue Mtn Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. Here at home, the mountains are much larger and we're not near the water... ~about a mile from the Hood Canal fjord. as for Adirondack chairs, my Dad made some for the cottage back when I was a kid in Pennsylvania; I didn't think they were very comfortable--but they are too heavy to have stolen and they look quaint...

The first verse from "The Great Invocation," reads:
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

Somehow this image brings to mind that beatuiful sense of making ready to receive the delivery of Light from the Point of light within the Mind of God (the star).

I would like to purchase a copy of this image, but want a small one (5x7 probably). Would it work scaled down that small? I know we eventually need to hit email for the transaction, and later is as good as now, or now as good as later for rates and such, kind sir.

Anyway, if it would translate to a small printing (looks great on my screen in the 5x7) then we're in business. Depending on your going rate, I might wait till after the first of November, but I am on board for the sale.
