this is how the scrub oak forests rebound after fire... This area was totally burned off a few years ago- the black tree skeletons and new growth getting ready for winter with their final display... The forest was strange beauty.
This may sound ridiculous given the remarkable quality of everything you post here, but this truly strikes me as incredible work of art. I am in awe . .
thank you, when I was working with this technique about three years ago, I was enjoying the effect at this point but there didn't seem to be much interest so I eventually went away from it. I've got a 'large' print of a waterfall in this technique on our wall by the pool table in the family room. I don't notice that it isn't a photograph because it is so familiar now but folks seeing it the first time comment about the style and I have to look to see what they are referring to. I appreciate your comment.
