all these snow photos are reposts... from here where I sit, there is one tiny spot of snow visible in the Olympic mountains to the west where our view is from home. Usually we can see snow that doesn't fully melt out all year on several mountains. It's been a very dry year with little snow last winter. Good accumulations usually don't start till December.

I found you through velvetlink's lj. Your work is amazing and inspiring.

Back in the late 70s a friend of mine sold her business in Washington, DC and moved to a small community in West Virginia. When I went to visit her one weekend she took me to nearby Yurt. It was just a frame at the time, but these images are the first reminder I've had of that day in many a year.
