augmenting the army's equipment in Iraq

'about a week ago, I bought two Forerunner 101 GPS units on ebay and sent them to Jimmy and Eric. They are currently in northern Iraq with the Kurds... a much more American-friendly area of the country. They are going out on patrols and seeing a much different topography with rolling green hills and mountains similar to their home in Utah. We ( Read more... )

Sending the GPS units was a really good idea - and sad that it was necessary for you to supplement the army's equipment. I wish them luck and hope they remain safe.

I'm their step-dad. They were grown and out on their own before I came along but I do love them as my own.

Hey Ilene, meant to mention to you that I, too, am a Red Hatter. Well, officially, I'm a lady in waiting....will have to wear pink/lavender for a few more years yet. It sure is a fun club though, isn't it? I love it!!!
