Currently, about a minute left in the 2nd period. Philadelphia 4, Montreal 3.

Final score: Philadelphia 6, Montreal 4.

Al least I won't have to give a damn for at least another year. (Though why Carbonneau didn't pull Price after the 3rd goal is beyond me.)

Merde.

I'm predicting Montreal 5, Philadelphia 4. But I'm an optimist.

Er, well, you know what I mean. :)

Of course, I hope you're right. But 15 years between Stanley Cups is 15 years too many.

It's hard to have a rookie as the lead goaltender. Price is very good, and I'm sure with two or three seasons under his belt, he'll be even better. But he won't have the consistency until he's a bit more mature.

And now it's tied at 4!!!

But can't you at least now continue watching games? Can't you at least cheer for Pittsburgh (or whoever) to take out those bastard Phillies who beat Les Canadiens? I am. (Yes, we watch hockey in the US). And I must say, I'm taking pleasure in the fact that I still fit into my Canadians shirt that I got in late high school.

Yes I can, but it's no longer an obligation. And in truth, I probably will watch - and cheer for - Pittsburg. Not for vengeance's sake, but simply because from what I've seen, they're a beautiful young team to watch.

But since you're anonymous, you won't even know that I've answered you, will I? Aw well, such is life ...
