the only thing I learned from being in newspaper was that journalism fucking sucks. if keeping the program alive will crush more tender, naive teenage dreams, then I'm all for it.

I don't know if newspaper actually crushes the dreams. I'm more of the opinion that it helps build young dreams, then the reality of the world soon destroys them.
