It's been an intense week. After being shut up in my house with my computer for almost two weeks straight (reminding me how very tired I am of grad school) I've been back at the shelters more regularly this week. A lot of it has been heartbreaking, actually, and I'm not sure where to begin.

I've been bad about keeping up and just read this now, but I hope you're doing okay down there with everything, as hard as it is. I think about you a lot and I'm so proud of all the work you're doing, trying to make a difference. You are, even if it doesn't always feel like it.
