Buuuuuuutttttt random_nexus, don't look. It'll spoil the surprise.

I'm so freaking happy with how this turned out. It was my first time trying Faire Isle, and it turned out fucking fantastic.

What is Faire Isle? Is it what I used to do this?

Also, that's really cute! :D

That one doesn't even look right, because on mine, the pattern's exactly the same on the other side, only mirrored.

If I wanted to, I could actually make it exactly the same. It's a pain in the ass, but possible.

It's a dice bag. With Cthulhu on it. My inner nerd just exploded XDD

I picked the Cthulhu (I don't know how, but I did), just not the dice bag part. Did you design the pattern yourself?

I wish I was that creative :) Naw, found the pattern off Ravelry, which led me to the actual website.

First time I actually needed to use a chart. It was an experience XD

Beautiful! And that's a great size project for your first attempt. I decided to make MY first attempt at Faire Isle was an adult-sized sweater... needless to say, it wound up being frogged in frustration.

I think I'd die x.x I'm not sure I could sit through a whole Faire Isle sweater. I was second guessing the stranding the entire time. I think I left enough room, but if not... It's only a dice bag. It can stretch a bit :D
