He spoke with such confidence when he was angry and it was beautiful. Full of life, and strength. L, was still full of worth-- still ever so appealing when he was more than just wallowing in his own misery clinging to people desperately; pathetic waste of time. Trying to preserve his food and he'd starve and wither away; decompose into nothingness like a worthless soul. We all die from our wounds, and you can't live trying to eat your wounds that are already dry. Wonder, wonder forever in such heavy despare. Maybe Shukaku had too much faith, but still. Vengence is what you seek, and life is what you need, and you're milking a dead cow. A smile dashed his lips. Such an opportunity he couldn't help it; and it seemed to have really gotten to little sir passive-aggressive. If this was just verbal quarrel than why request to find him in such a large open space no less. L was expecting a fight; and it wasn't going to be so easy. He was spoiled and babied. It was time for him to grow up.

Golden fingers trailed along the walls of the barraks on his way outside. The demon turned the corner; dressed in fine red silks, golds, and fishnets-- his typical unique fashion and ringed hueless white inhuman eyes. Shukaku stopped a good few feet from the man and his current side pet; clawed toenails curled in the snow. His head tipped musing to himself at the site of the man; dressed as he was long ago. Couldn't even dress himself. Cared about nothing. What a woeful desperate heart. Next to kin; the suicide cases. There was a clear difference between this Beyond and the other Beyond.
The other Beyond was alive and begging to die. This Beyond was dead and crying about it.
