To Sylvanas' right, Leon Kennedy crossed his arms and brought one leg up on the fountain rim. There was a sense of de ja vu upon the agent and it was well justified; over a year ago (from his count) he and his charge had stood at this very spot with the very same mission. The overall turn-out hadn't been good, but maybe the audience would be more receptive this time around.

It needed to be. The fun and games were over and the clock was ticking. They could all feel it.

Keen blue eyes swept the venue carefully, centering every so often on anyone who'd chosen to show up in person.

Sylvanas' message on the PDA had piqued Shadow's curiosity. He had no desire to bow to her authority, unlike the majority who had replied to her little speech, but if she was going to be out answering questions about her latest ideas for leadership, then he wanted to know what those answers were, in case they were in any way useful to him. Sylvanas was interesting, in a way. Her actions, such as this, were generally something he objected to or at least ignored, but from the few words he'd shared with her, it was clear that she shared something with him - heavy suspicion of the Warden, and a desire to get out of here, back to where she came from.

He had his own plans for escape, of course, and for the Warden as well. But Rouge was right when she'd told him to think of Sylvanas just as much as a potential ally as a potential threat. So although he hung back a good distance from the fountain, he'd come - and would judge her by her words.

Two more headed to the base of the fountain. One had been waiting for this to happen, the other knew it was simply a matter of time. One of them had been itching to try her gliding off the ground, and so she wound up at the fountain first, ready to pose her question to Sylvanas

The Card Mistress saw what was going on, and so she quietly went out to join the others. She'd already volunteered to help, even during the days of the old alliance, but it seemed to have died and here was another one rising from the ashes. Not that she pledged loyalty to any one of the leaders in particular, but she'd come to listen more to Azula as of late. She was Zuko's sister, for one, and, unlike Quatre, she actually took the time to answer Ying Fa's message.

Hesitantly, she joined the princess, although she didn't stay too close, in fear that her presence wasn't wanted. But she was there, listening to what was going on, and ready to do whatever it was that needed to be done.
