Ed climbed the stairs from the second to the fourth floor. Assuming the layout was the same on each floor, he figured Paj-Ennea would be directly above his own. He turned the corner from the stairwell and saw a young woman with long blond hair standing in the hallway.

Ed approached her with a smile. "Excuse me, Tenjoin Asuka? I'm Edward Elric."

Asuka turned toward the person addressing her, then smiled upon seeing the young man. "Yes, that's me. Thank you for coming."

"Hey, no problem," he replied, shrugging broadly. Ed's lips quirked into a wry grin as he added, "I think must be in the running for Econtra's resident handyman. Not that I mind, though." He jerked a thumb toward the door. "So is this your place?"

Asuka nodded, opening the door so that they could enter. "Yeah, this is where other me and I live." No one had actually slept there since the Keepers had destroyed the windows, of course - the other her had been with a friend, and Manjoume had insisted that she herself stay with him until everything was fixed - but it was still their apartment nonetheless.
