Where: Outside Building One.
When: After this and this.
Summary: Jing brings up something that Maria gets boggled over, and so decides to talk to the person concerned about it. As well as find a new place to stay after being evicted by the Warden.
Warnings: Awkwardness and fluff, most likely. ♥

Aligoté wasn't sure WHAT to make of Maria's bizarre and out of the blue request. He couldn't shake the feeling that somehow he'd done something wrong, but couldn't think of anything. In the middle of all that was going on in the compound -- the Warden's arrival, the weird eviction notice -- it shouldn't have seemed so important. And yet Maria's urgency was foremost on his mind.

He spotted her standing near the building's side. "Hey..."

"Hey." She was blushing, somewhat. "Thanks. I checked the building, and there's a lot of room in the third floor." Yup, definitely not talking about that something just yet. She wasn't ready. How in the world was she going to start, anyway? She wasn't even quite sure herself what it was all about, and she figured that Aligoté was definitely more confused than she was.

"Third floor," he echoed. "Yeah, okay. We'll have to get some boxes or... somethin' to move stuff over. Dunno how long the Warden's going to give us before the building goes flat, or whatever."

Definitely couldn't figure out why she was blushing, though, and so attempted, "Is Relena still gonna be living with us?"

"I don't have a lot of stuff. But I can always ask the Warden to give us a few more hours. Want to check the place?"

The blushing grew worse when he asked about Relena. "She's staying with Atem." She pursed her lips together for a moment. "If it makes you uncomfortable, I could stay in another apartment...?"
