It had been a while, indeed, since Jounouchi had faced Kaiba. Admittedly, it had been a rather humiliating defeat, but he (liked to think that he) had learned from that day, as well as the rest of the duels that he had fought since then.

He was going to try to not get too overconfident, of course. And it didn't really matter (to anything besides both of their prides as duelists and such) who won or lost - it was just a duel for the sake of dueling, not for the sake of the world, not for a step in a tournament, just for the sake of dueling. As long as both of them put up their strongest fights, that was what mattered.

He made his way to the Park, his Red Eyes plushie sitting half on his head, half on his shoulder. The plushie waved to the Blue Eyes as the two of them arrived at where Kaiba was waiting.

"You ready, Kaiba?" he asked, though he already had a feeling he knew the answer.

She nodded, looking out at Jounouchi. "I am. I hope you have your deck ready," she said as her usual smirk started to form. She had done a lot of edits to her deck and she was ready to duel again.

The Blue-Eyes plushie waved in return and lifted off of her shoulder in order to fly out into the middle of the dueling grounds to greet it's Red-Eyed counterpart.

"Of course I do," he replied with a grin. "Why wouldn't I?" He hadn't changed his own deck all that much, while he had been here - there were little that he felt definitely needed to be changed, save for the eventual re-addition of the Red Eyes Black Dragon when he had proven himself, but that couldn't come yet.

The Red Eyes plushie flew out to the middle as well, quite happy to see Blue Eyes.

After a small meeting of the plushies, the Blue Eyes headed back to her owners shoulder, looking ready for the duel. Kaiba smirked a bit as she activated her duel disk and waited for Jounouchi to do the same.

Otogi was half-dozing in the park, enjoying the crisp clean air. Pip was near him, and had been dozing as well. At least, if plushies dozed he was. Even Otogi, who had made and endowed so many with psuedo-life, wasn't certain.

But now Pip was bumping into him, and he looked up warily to see what it was. His plushie dice was excited by something and Otogi looked around until he saw what it was: a duel. Well, that was something to check out. He stood up, brushed himself off, and headed over to check it out.

Well, well, well. Jounouchi and Kaiba. This should be interesting. He snapped himself up a chair and a drink and a tray of snacks. "This better be worth interrupting my nap for," he said with a grin, not caring if either of them, or anyone, heard him.

The two who were beginning to duel were legends -- both in title and skill, and had every right to be considered so in her time. But time had passed, as it does, and Satellite had almost every known restriction put on it. If not for Econtra and it's gossip mill and network of communicators, the stories would never have reached her. (Though, by default, she knew that Kaiba was a great person -- she had just always thought that a Kaiba Seto was a male, but had decided she had been mistaken when seeing the female pronoun used to reference to the one presently in Econtra.)

Drifting had gotten her to the assigned spot. Other spectators she had anticipated, but not so much someone who could conjure food from thin air. So she stared.

The back of Otogi's neck prickled slightly and he glanced about until he saw someone looking at him. Staring, to be precise. It wasn't anyone he recognized, but that made little difference. He looked back at her calmly.

"Want a snack?" he asked, slightly grinning. There were days he truly loved being him (more than usual). This was shaping up to be one of them.

She sensed a small something in his manner -- was it a challenge? Probably not, and she decided instead that it was merely good, natural humour. There were many people and beings in Econtra with powers that were much more strange and horrible. Still, she was a bit incredulous, though he certainly gave off not even the smallest degree of possible malignant intent.

"Is it edible?" she asked half rhetorically as her gaze shifted from him, the sentient dice, and, finally, to the conjured food. "Looks good."
