"Very funny!" Melaka shouted from her room. She opened the door, stepping out of her bedroom, Gun following closely behind her, then barks excitedly at the prospect of a visitor. "Gun! Inside voice!" Mel said in a bossy tone.

Mel crossed the room to the kitchen table. "Get you something to drink? Eat?" Mel offered with a polite smile.

"Sure, whatcha got? And hey Gun." Duo leaned down to greet the mechanical canine. Weird that a robot dog was just the same as a regular one, for the most part. He patted the dog on the head and stood, setting the box down on the table.

"Where's the squirt..?"

"Not a squirt." Harth replied as he exited the bedroom, dragging along his teddybear. Duo he knew. He didn't necessarily like Duo, but he appreciated the kindness towards him, a the moment, it was all he could ask for.

He walked over to the couch and sat on it, patting for gun to join him.

Gun's little metallic tail waggled excited then he trotted over to climb up onto the couch beside Harth, curling up next to him, resting its chin on his little leg.

Melaka watched as Harth crossed the room, her brow furrowing for a moment. "You're gonna get a lotta nicknames, midge. Might as well get used to it."
