Relena had been sitting in one of the chairs at the table that Aligoté had cooked meals for them at. She missed her roommates and lately, she was alone. Even Wufei had vanished. At first she'd thought he'd merely left the apartment, but after seeing the posts made by the others from her world, her suspicions were confirmed: he had disappeared. Such vanishings were the norm to her by now. People showed up and left without warning. The unexpected was expected and while it saddened her, she did not dwell on it. He was back in their world, doing his work as a Preventer where he should be and not in this compound.

She was pleasantly surprised to see Maria enter and stood from her chair to go over to her friend. "Miss Maria!"
