Summary: Kuro is troubled, Fye tries to help. Things end up esploding.

Nothing. A whole week missing. Where the hell did that week go? He added the missing week to the list of gaps in his memories. This was not normal. Not that any part of this was normal, but there had been a definite linear pace of regaining his memories. Kurogane would remember things day by day, blurring over most of the mind numbing boredom of walking through countryside. The past two years broke that pattern. Now he was skipping days with barely any awareness that he had lived that day. And things had been skipped that shouldn't have been skipped. Like how the hell he got a gapping wound on his side or who the fuck shot that damn arrow!? The first year stated out alright but the missing parts seemed to be getting more and more common. Enough for Kurogane to start worrying that something was going wrong with what they were doing now. But why now

Fye heard Kurogane come into the room, but ignored it to the best of his abilities. The other was quiet so he figured he really had nothing important to talk about. But he wrong. And reading Kurogane's aura made Fye sit up slowly and turn to look at the sounds other was making. Come to think of it, he smelled like someone who had been training hard. And the only reason Fye could think of Kurogane doing that was that something was troubling him. He let some worry enter his expression. "Hey..." A little greeting, just to get Kurogane to realize where he was. His aura sounded awfully lost as well.

Kurogane was know questioning whether he should put on his shirt and go eat something or take a shower first. Neither sounded all that helpful. Fye broke that and other thoughts easily enough. He looked back over at the other properly this time, "Hey." Kurogane dragged his shirt over his head and took a few steps back towards the door. "You want anything?" He felt like he needed to do something while he tried sorting out his memories. Maybe the missing section were just remembered out of turn? No, he would have noticed something.

He listened to the other silently, suspicious and very obvious about it. His ability to read auras had not been weakened last time he checked. Something was bothering him. It would get stronger and weaker in turns depending on what Kurogane happened to be thinking about, but for the most part it was prominent. He let his ear follow Kurogane's foot steps back to the door. "I want an answer," he replied, sitting up. And do what question you ask? "What's up?" And Kurogane better not lie. With the way he was moping around here it would be too terribly easy to spot.
