Summary: Kurogane and Fye are still in love and all is swell. Then the potion wears off...
Warnings: Cute fluff one can gag on, Awkward, Language, a tiny bit of foreshadowing?

It was nice being in the familiar setting, and Boo seemed to have calmed down if only slightly. Which was very, very, good indeed. No it didn't bother Fye at all, but he had to wonder how this would affect Fay. After all, the other was slowly starting to open up again, but if Fye prodded he would hide in that shell again. It was so frustrating and it worried him. He would never know when Fay was in trouble. And now he felt lonely. The kind of lonely not even Kurogane could help him with, because he was so used to having someone there to talk to, someone he cared for so deeply. There was nothing now. Nothing but him ( ... )

Kurogane stopped once he saw Fye had ice already for him. He had the usual mix of fondness and annoyance when someone he cared for fussed over him."No, just a sore side." From the recording and what he remembered he tried grabbing onto a chair, that probably help things. It was irritating that he turned on the communicator without knowing it though. He'd have to make sure to check that he didn't do that again ( ... )

Fye relaxed noticeably when the other told him no. He wasn't one to fuss to much, and if he knew there was no blood and no head shots or nothing fractured then Kurogane was alright. After all, it was no stranger to him that Kurogane was a tough man, he was too. This gave way to relief and a slight giggle. "So you did just trip then ( ... )

Annoyance over took fondness. Kurogane neverjust tripped. Tch. He fell, sure. But there was always a reason. The huff Fye earned for poking at Kurogane's pride died before it had a chance when Fye started purring loudly. Only two years? It suddenly hit Kurogane just how much he had remembered in what? Two months? He thought again, but he was still aware of two more Summers then he had been before. Odd how fast those two years went. Guess that's what happened when it was all dull work and walking ( ... )
