After lunch (some curry rice and an interesting kind of tea he'd found in the back of the fridge - he didn't remember asking for any tea like that, but maybe his roommate who he had never spoken to but knew was there had ordered some, or maybe it was a gift from someone else; either way, it was pretty good), Jounouchi had decided that it would be a good day to take a walk outside. The weather was nice, after all, for the middle of winter.

And so he had put on his coat and exited the apartment to take a walk in a random direction around the compound. The Red Eyes plushie had decided to cling to his shoulder, wanting to go with him, and Jounouchi wasn't about to tell the plushie not to. Maybe, he thought as his route took him close to the café, he would go to the Park and find a stick with which to play fetch with Red Eyes.

Kaiba absently reached for the bottle of tea sitting near the edge of her table and opened it up, taking a drink. It was good stuff. She didn't know who had sent it, but she didn't mind it this once. Maybe Mokuba had sent it, she had no idea.

A chirp distracted her from her deck editing. The Blue Eyes plushie had spotted the Red Eyes plushie on Jounouchi's shoulder and had chirped a greeting.

"Jounouchi." She said simply.

Jounouchi stopped when he heard his name, and turned toward the source. Not that he wouldn't have stopped anyway even if Kaiba hadn't said anything, with Red Eyes chirping a greeting in return and waving with the claw that wasn't supporting its perch on its master's shoulder.

"Kaiba," he replied with a nod of greeting.

"It seems that the dragons know each other." She said, looking at his Red Eyes ands her Blue Eyes. They did seem to be rather friendly towards each other, despite the fact that their masters weren't exactly the best of friends.
