Tim glanced at his hand and scowled. Cissie was right--he was holding it wrong--like a batarang, not a dart. He adjusted his grip and tossed it at the board. It landed within a quarter-inch of the bull's eye. He turned to grin at her. "Ha."

Cissie did her best not to giggle at the look on his face. Tim looked so very pleased with himself; he might not take giggling well. Instead, she nodded and walked over to stand with him and take her turn. "Not bad. But not quite good enough," she said, aiming her own dart.

Grinning a little--and not wanting to lose the third match in a row--Tim stepped forward and leaned very close behind her. "Take your time and aim," he said, whispering the words directly into her ear.

Cissie shivered involuntarily at the feeling of Tim's breath on her neck and his voice so close to her ear. She did her best to ignore him, throwing the dart before he could distract her more--it hit just marginally closer to the bull's eye than Tim's had, and she made a face at him. "Cheater!"
