Azula, unsurprisingly, was bored. Mercury tended to be by herself these days, which resulted in Azula going off by HERself to train. That had become something of a ritual, one day training herself in her firebending, the next in waterbending. In any case, she was at a point where Econtra was simply becoming stale: joining this Alliance would at least alleviate her boredom, not to mention familiarize herself with the rabble rousers in this place. So what Erk had mentioned he found she at least hoped would be some sort of alcoholic beverage...conveniently forgetting the last time she drank, she was "enjoying" the company of Princess Kagura.

Coming into the door,s he saw the two glasses and smiled. "You're ready, good," she said, and say down Indian style. "It seems we haven't talked much roommate: what do you do on your off time?"

She grabbed one of the cups and drank.

Erk shrugged, taking a sip from the other cup. "Meditate, mostly; the sort of magic I practice involves communing with nature quite a bit." The first time he'd forgotten that hadn't ended well; it had ended with him collapsing from exhaustion, in fact. "Other than that, mostly reading." He smiled. "I'm afraid I'm a bit of a bookworm; that's probably why we don't see much of each other."

Azula laughed. "Well in that case, we probably have something in common, although as I've told you before, my skill isn't magic. Still, in my world I work with the basic elements. Fire and Water are my aid." Azula took another sip, and made a funny face. "This drink...well, I am sure it isn't alcohol, but it tastes...well, it tastes like something I can't quite describe."

Books? Well, there was no problem with that. She liked reading when it suited her too.

Azula took another another drink, this time a long one. "Catch up with me, magical boy."

The taunt was good natured, although Azula felt strangely flirtatious about it.

Erk laughed. "Well, I can certainly try." Normally even the slightest hint of flirting was liable to make him blush terribly, but for some reason this didn't seem that way. "Though I'll admit this drink does seem a bit strange. I've certainly never tasted anything like it."
